Seeking participants: Resilient new mums study

We are recruiting mums-to-be into a study exploring resilience during the transition to parenthood.

Not much is known about resilience (i.e. ‘bouncing back’ from stresses) during the period when women become mothers for the first time. Resilience researchers from the School of Psychological Sciences at Macquarie University want to learn more about this, so we can better support the mental health of new mums in the future.

We are looking for mums-to-be to participate in this study. Specifically, we are seeking women who are:

  • 25-32-weeks pregnant with their first child,
  • currently living in Australia, and
  • comfortable reading English.

Participation involves completing several online surveys (2-15 minutes each; just over an hour in total) over approximately four months. Participants will go in the draw to win one of five $200 online gift vouchers. We are recruiting until the end of June 2022.

To participate, please follow this link below. Please share with others who might meet the criteria and be interested in participating.
