Seeking adults aged 65 years or older for a study on combined health screening

Researchers from The George Institute for Global Health, Macquarie’s Department of Linguistics, National Acoustic Laboratories and University of New South Wales’ Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing are conducting a pilot study to investigate the feasibility and acceptability of combined health screening for three prevalent health conditions in older adults.

They are seeking volunteers who meet the following criteria:

  • aged at least 65 years
  • able to give informed consent
  • able to read and speak English
  • no known or clinically diagnosed cognitive impairment or dementia

Eligible volunteers will be asked to attend a study visit at Macquarie University for approximately one hour and participate in an optional 15-30 minute online or phone interview within a week of the study visit.

Volunteers will receive a $25 Coles Group and Myer gift card.
