Macquarie University and Cochlear have been collaborating for many years to support excellent hearing-related research.
Earlier this year, both partners renewed their commitment to support research projects in three major areas of interest:
1. Standardisation – utilising evidence to establish appropriate treatment for each patient and remove barriers.
2. Ageing and hearing health – develop and maintain functional ability to enable wellbeing throughout the life course.
3. State-of-the-art – better performance, more consistent outcomes (technology and leadership).
Guidance on the application process and the Cochlear Macquarie University Joint Research Fund application form is available here.
Applicants are also invited to attend a virtual webinar on Tuesday 14 November (1pm – 2pm) which will provide high level information and answer questions. Link to attend.
Applications close on Thursday 30 November at 5pm.
