Introducing Pivot-Research Professional – a one-stop-shop tool to support the University’s research funding and collaboration goals

Macquarie University is upgrading from Research Professional (RP) to Pivot-Research Professional (Pivot-RP) to better serve the needs of its researchers.

Pivot-RP is a searchable database of research funding opportunities and collaborators across all disciplines and project types. It is a trusted and comprehensive source of global funding information across a range of funding bodies, from public funding institutions to not-for-profit opportunities.

The ‘Intelligent Advisor’ is an exciting new feature that examines several areas of a researcher’s profile and displays funding opportunities based on that analysis. Users can choose to receive a weekly email with new funding opportunities that match their profile.

In addition, Pivot-RP offers extra resources and tools to help build and diversify research funding. Pivot-RP can help:

  • track, save and share information about funding opportunities
  • discover collaborators
  • gain insights from previously awarded grants
  • inform your funding strategies with an authoritative global funding news and analysis service.
