Want to learn more about LGBTIQ+ inclusion at Macquarie?

Ally training is open to all staff and students at the University who are interested in creating an inclusive culture for the LGBTIQ+ community.

The training involves a two-hour professional development workshop to increase knowledge, understanding and awareness of:

  • LGBTIQ+ related support at Macquarie
  • the role of an Ally in fostering an inclusive community

Those who complete the training will be eligible to join our Ally Network.

In partnership with Pride in Diversity (PID), two new Ally training sessions will be held on the following dates:

Monday 28 October, 9am – 12.30pm | Register here

Wednesday 20 November, 9am – 12.30pm | Register here
