Multi-factor authentication is coming to eStudent, Applicant Portal and iLearn

From Tuesday 23 May, multi-factor authentication (MFA) will be required for students and staff logging into eStudent, Applicant Portal and iLearn when outside the Macquarie University campus network.

The shift, part of the University’s ongoing program of work to protect Macquarie from cyber threats, will provide staff and students with a higher level of protection from account compromise.

The University is communicating this change to students. Students are being encouraged to set up their MFA by visiting this webpage.

Staff seeking more information or assistance with MFA can visit the FAQs here.
