The new-look Policy Central was launched on 22 February 2021, improving user experience and providing valuable consultation features.   

Feedback continues to be positive, with users particularly appreciative of the Bulletin Board consultation feature. In the past six months, there have been more than 3000 views of policy drafts on the Bulletin Board, and almost 200 individual feedback submissions have been made. 

Policy development and review has also been facilitated by the new system. In the past two years:  

• close to 200 policy documents were amended, fully reviewed, or newly created  
• more than 100 policies were made available on the Bulletin Board for feedback 
• more than 90 redundant or superseded policy documents were expired.  

The student-facing policies are consistently the most viewed, with the Student Code of Conduct receiving more than 60,000 visits during the past two years. The Assessment Policy, the Academic Integrity Policy, the Acceptable Use of IT Resources Policy, and the Recognition of Prior Learning Policy make up the top five, all receiving more than 20,000 visits.
