Macquarie Business School was a proud sponsor of the Committee of Sydney’s inaugural Sydney Awards recently. An inspirational and worthy group of winners were recognised for their contribution to the greater Sydney community.

Joshua Ross and Adam McCurdie, co-founders of Australia’s fastest growing ticketing site Humanitix, were awarded the 2022 Emerging Leader Award.

Professor Eric Knight, who was a judge on the Awards panel, said of Humanitix: “What’s exciting here is the brave decision to build a profitable business that gives away all its profits for good. That is really exciting for next generation founders, for people who are looking to do something different in the world and something good for the world.”
