Wallumattagal Campus was buzzing with characters for the inaugural Colour the Campus Challenge for Wear It Purple Day on Friday 26 August.

Early afternoon almost 300 registered participants assembled on the corner of Eastern Rd and Wally’s Walk for the event organised by Campus Life.

After warm ups, and a heartfelt speech by first year speech pathology student, Tahlia White, participants set off in groups to complete a 2km circuit with games stops, where the competition was observed to be quite lively at times. The event culminated in a gathering at Ubar.
