The University will soon commence the bargaining process for the following enterprise agreements:
- Macquarie University Academic Staff Enterprise Agreement 2018
- Macquarie University Professional Staff Enterprise Agreement 2018
These agreements, which both nominally expired at the end of December 2021, will continue to operate until new agreements are approved.
In coming days, the University will be issuing a Notice of Employee Representational Rights to all staff covered by these enterprise agreements. This is a formal notice that the University is required to provide to staff who will be covered by the new agreements and is the formal notification to commence bargaining.
We will communicate with the University community throughout the bargaining process to ensure you are kept informed of progress.
