You may be aware from recent messages from the Vice-Chancellor that the University is keen to ensure that as many members of the University community are vaccinated as quickly as possible. The sooner vaccination rates increase, we will see an end to current restrictions which will allow for staff, students, and visitors to return to an open campus.
Consistent with this position, the University’s COVID Taskforce has approved a payment program to encourage casual staff to be vaccinated as early as possible. A one-off payment of $50.00 will be available to all casual staff, including those employed by MQ Health and U@MQ, who receive both doses of the vaccine.
The program will apply to casual staff members who have performed work for the University since 1 June this year and will run till the end of November. It is important that staff seek medical advice before receiving the vaccination.
To be eligible for payment, casual staff will be required to provide their supervisors with evidence of having received both doses of the vaccine. Further information is being provided to managers and supervisors of casual staff about the program, including the process for approving payment.
If you have questions relating to the payment, please contact your HR Client Team representative.

My wife and I are casual exam supervisors (& have been for 10 years). I have printed our COVID-19 digital certificate. Who do I forward this to (or post) or screenshot ??
Thanks
Hi Ross, if you have performed work for the University since 1 June this year, please forward you certificate or MyGov screenshot to you supervisor
I have the certificate in myGov app but I don’t know how to attach the photocopy to you.
Hi Jessie, we have checked with HR and they have advised a screenshot is sufficient if you are unable to print a copy from YouGov.
