Australia’s next volcanic eruption with volcanologist Heather Handley
Wednesday 18 August
Join Honorary Associate Professor Heather Handley as she shares Australia’s fiery volcanic past and explore how likely a future eruption is in mainland Australia.

Leigh Staas of Macquarie’s Smart Green Cities research centre in a panel discussion around how we can make our cities more liveable through  urban greening.

Thursday 19 August
Join Dr. Ángel R. López-Sánchez from the Department of Physics and Astronomy to talk all things celestial, with a Q&A session for the astro-curious.

Macquarie University is also a proud supporter of the Sydney Science Trail, which will be offering a wide range of fun, family-friendly online events during National Science Week.
