Community Volunteering Leave – North Ryde Community Aid Christmas Cheer Program

The Annual North Ryde Community Aid Christmas Cheer Program is on again – consider making a contribution to a terrific cause.

The University works with the North Ryde Community Aid Centre to provide food hampers to aged clients who may live alone and don’t have a lot of family support and our ‘food’ clients, who come to the Centre throughout the year for emergency food relief.

Find out more about how to you can get involved and what volunteering opportunities you can sign up for before Christmas by visiting the What’s On page (information under ‘Be helpful’).

Macquarie’s Community Volunteering Leave allows continuing staff members to partner with and contribute their efforts towards (authorised) organisations and groups in the community including non-profit organisations and charitable groups. Continuing staff members qualify for two volunteering days per year.
