BikeTober Business Challenge is underway! Cheer on Macquarie’s 140 riders

Well done and good luck to the 140 Macquarie staff (including 14 new cyclists) that have registered to participate in the BikeTober Business Challenge.

Visit Macquarie’s team page to check the individual leaderboard, see which offices and departments are leading the charge, share your cycling photos or send messages of support as the riders strive for their goals and compete for great prizes.

If you haven’t already registered, it’s not too late to join the fun via the Love To Ride website and start logging your commute or leisure rides throughout October. You’ll be rewarded with some great campus freebies and discounts.

The Cycling Ambassador Network is also organising a Bike Mechanics Workshop on Thursday 8 October and Friday 9 October at 12pm. You can register here.

And if you’re going to ride on only one day in October, make it National Ride2Work Day on Wednesday 21 October. You’ll find details on on-campus events for Ride2Work Day in next week’s staff news.

If you need support or advice during BikeTober, the Cycling Ambassador Network is here to help, email cycling@mq.edu.au, or follow them on Instagram.
