New procurement framework, ProcureRight, launched

After extensive consultation with over 200 staff, the University’s Procurement Handbook has now been replaced by a new procurement framework, ProcureRight, for use by all staff procuring goods and services.

ProcureRight comprises guides, tools, templates and a ‘How to Procure’ map, all designed to streamline procurement activities into one easy-to-follow process, saving you time to focus on your core research, teaching or business outcomes.

Macquarie’s Procurement Policy has been built in to every step of this process, ensuring staff remain compliant – thereby safeguarding both your liability and the University’s.

Find out more

The Strategic Procurement team will be running ProcureRight drop-in sessions every Tuesday to Thursday, 10.30am-3pm, between 3 September – 4 October on level 2 of 9 Wally’s Walk (formerly E6A).  The team will be on hand to answer your questions about ProcureRight and talk you through how to use it.

Additionally, a ProcureRight Town Hall will be held in November.  More information will follow here in This Week nearer to the time.

  1. The Pre-Procurement Risk Assessment Checklist ( https://truth.mq.edu.au/share/id/mqu4oige ) has been saved without a file extension, which makes it hard to figure out which application is needed to open it. After trying PDF and TXT, I landed on .DOCX as the correct file extension so that is opened in Microsoft Word.
