The annual AFR Higher Education Awards recognise the contributions made by the higher education sector to Australian prosperity and quality of life.
Applications are now open in the following categories:
- Community Engagement Award
- Education Technology Award
- Emerging Leader Award
- Employability Award
- Equity and Opportunity Award
- Facilities Innovation Award
- Industry Engagement Award
- International Education Award
- Learning Experience Award
- Lifetime Achievement Award
Interested in applying?
- Speak to the Office of the PVC (Learning and Teaching) and your faculty Associate Dean of Learning and Teaching if you intend to apply.
- Submit an EOI to the Office of the PVC Learning and Teaching (pvclt@mq.edu.au) by Wednesday 1 May 2019.
- Include the category you wish to apply to.
- Activity (program/project) title.
- A 200-word summary of the activity.
- Evidence of previous award recognition.
The Office of the DVC Academic, in consultation with senior stakeholders, will review EOIs and make a final decision on applicants going forward.
The Office of the PVC Learning and Teaching will submit all Macquarie endorsed applications to AFR by the deadline of Friday 28 June 2019.
