Central Avenue side street trenching works

Due to power and data cabling being located underground at Macquarie University, upgrades to these services require excavation.

Trenching works followed by Ausgrid installation and testing will occur 21 May-14 June at Central Avenue side street adjacent to 12 Second Way and 17 Wally’s Walk.

Although relatively minor, the site will affect pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the following ways:
– No vehicular access to Central Avenue side street or its parking spaces
– Continued, diverted pedestrian access
– Power isolations will occur at the end of the works and building occupants of 2 First Walk, Campus Common, 4, 6, 12 and 14 Second Way, 17 Wally’s Walk will be notified closer to the time
