Whale-tracking drones, childhood musculoskeletal conditions and Egyptian mummies – just three of the fascinating topics being showcased at the ‘Macquarie Women Changing the World Symposium’ being held on Monday.

The Symposium kicks off an entire week of activities dedicated to shining a spotlight on gender equity at Macquarie.

It’s all about celebrating the world-changing impact of Macquarie women, challenging our thinking about gender inequality, reflecting on Macquarie’s progress towards gender equity and focusing on what still needs to be done.

Other highlights of the week include:

  1. The Hidden Figures of STEM photographic exhibition is absolutely wonderful. It is too good to be removed after a week. Please consider putting it up on a website somewhere for future reference. I want to read them again!
