The gift of giving: have any simple care and food items lying around?

With the festive season just around the corner, some of our local community members could do with a little bit of Christmas care. North Ryde Community Aid (NRCA) is collecting food to go into their Christmas hampers. These hampers are delivered to people who would really appreciate (and need) the love, thought and food that goes into them.

This is where you come in! NRCA is asking for donations of simple care and food items. Teams around MQ have set up drop off points to make it easy for you to donate what you can and be part of the gift of giving this Christmas.

Food Drop Off Points can be found at the following locations until 11 December.

  • Australian Hearing Hub – 2nd floor North & South
  • BD Building level 2 – Future Students
  • C5A Room 522 – Linguistics
  • E3A, Level 1 – Macquarie International
  • E7B tea room – Student centre and PACE in FSE
  • E8A 280 – Biology Tearoom
  • E11A Level 2 outside the VC Boardroom
