Seeking participants for hearing and noise study

Researchers from the Hearing Loss Prevention team at the National Acoustic Laboratories (NAL) are seeking participants for a hearing and noise study. To participate, you must be 30-55 years old and have:

  • Normal hearing
  • Never worked in a noisy job or used power tools
  • Never or rarely attended night clubs
  • No musical training.

Participants will be asked to answer an online survey (approximately 15 minutes) and if eligible, attend a laboratory appointment (approximately three hours) at the Australian Hearing Hub. Eligible participants who attend the lab appointment will receive $50.
