Squiz Matrix CMS training available

The public website has been in the Squiz Matrix Content Management System (CMS) for the past six months. Part of the migration to this system has involved a move to distributed authoring of content for the website. In most areas of the University, local content editors have been nominated and trained to provide basic support for simple content updates.

IT is currently providing regular training sessions, covering basic content editing and use of the CMS. Training sessions are held fortnightly, and are two hours in length.

If you, or someone in your area, require training to enable you to update content on pages of the public website relating to your area of the university, please submit a OneHelp ticket. In OneHelp, select ‘Information Communication Technology (ICT)’, then ‘Web Collaboration and Multimedia’, and ‘Website’. Then select ‘Web CMS access or training’ from the first drop-down menu.
