Sunita Chaudhary, HDR student in the Department of Environment and Planning.

Next Monday 19 September will shine a light on the research stars of tomorrow, with three events celebrating the best of Macquarie’s undergraduate and Higher Degree Research students.

Now in its ninth year, this competition challenges HDR candidates to consolidate their ideas and discoveries into a three-minute long presentation to an intelligent but non-specialist audience.

Winners will go on to compete with the best emerging researchers in Australia, New Zealand and – for the first time this year – a select number of Asian universities.
