This study based at Macquarie University and the University of Sydney is investigating how the brain works in Childhood Apraxia of Speech. The study involves two sessions for speech and language testing, and for brain imaging with magnetoencephalography (MEG). All speech and brain measurements are safe for children.

They are looking for children and teenagers:

• Who have no history of speech difficulties
• Are 7-16 years old
• Are right-handed
• Have no metal permanently attached to body or teeth (including wire
braces and implants).
• Have no hearing difficulties
• Speak English as first language
• Have no history of head injury
The speech and language testing will take about 2 hours and participants will received $25 per hour. The MEG experiment will take about 2 hours and participants will receive $25 per hour.
