Seeking adults aged 35+ for cognitive functioning study

Researchers in the Department of Cognitive Science are seeking adults aged 35+ for a study aimed at investigating cognitive functioning in middle and later life. Specifically, they are examining cognitive functioning in those who have or have not used drugs and/or alcohol throughout their lifetime.

The study involves an online questionnaire and remote cognitive testing, so can be done completely online. Subsequent MEG testing for interested participants may be done in-person at a later date, when COVID permits.

To participate, you must be:

  • 35 years or older.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Access to Zoom for testing.
  • Have no significant hearing, vision and/or memory loss, no history of neurological issues or substance use disorders.
  • Have never used illicit substances, or have used previously but not in the last 12 months.

An incentive of up to $30 is available for participants.
