The Australian Red Cross’s Mobile Blood Service will be taking blood donations outside the front of the Library on Central Avenue on Tuesday 6 August from 9am – 2.30pm. Giving blood is an incredibly generous act and every blood donation can help save three lives, so if you’re interested in helping, please:
- Take the eligibility quiz if you’ve never given blood before
- Pop over to the Library or call 13 14 95 to check available appointment times
- Have 3 or 4 glasses of water or juice in the hours before you donate
- Have a good-sized breakfast or lunch beforehand
- Bring your official photo ID with you: driver’s licence, passport or Proof of Age card
Mobile Blood Service at Waterloo Road, 28-30 August
For staff based at 44, 50 and 58 Waterloo Road, the Mobile Blood Service will be outside 69-71 Waterloo Rd (over the road from 58 Waterloo Road) on:
- Wednesday 28 August, 8.30am – 2pm
- Thursday 29 August, 12.30pm – 6pm
- Friday 30 August, 8.30am – 2pm
To give blood, please:
