Plans lodged for new RNA Research and Pilot Manufacturing Facility

The development application for the NSW Government’s new Ribonucleic (RNA) Research and Pilot Manufacturing Facility, to be located on the corner of Culloden and Gymnasium roads at Macquarie’s Wallumattagal Campus, has been lodged with the Department of Planning and Environment and is now on public exhibition.

The NSW Government has committed $72.2 million to building the facility, which will enable the research, development and production of a broad spectrum of RNA technologies locally to treat a range of human and animal diseases, disorders and infections.
