The Voice to Parliament: special event with bestselling author Thomas Mayo

Ahead of the National Referendum, learn more about the Uluru Statement from the Heart and the Voice to Parliament in a special Q&A with Thomas Mayo, hosted by Merck ANZ in collaboration with Macquarie University.

His new book The Voice to Parliament Handbook – All the details you need  is currently #2 on the list of bestselling books in Australia. Co-authored by respected journalist Kerry O’Brien and illustrated by cartoonist Cathy Wilcox, the book provides an easy-to-follow guide for Australians who support for the Uluru Statement from the Heart, but want to better understand what a Voice to Parliament actually means.

Thomas is a signatory of the Uluru Statement from the Heart and has been a leading advocate for the Statement since its inception in 2017. He chairs the Northern Territory Indigenous Labor Network and is a director on the Australians for Indigenous Constitutional Recognition board.


Thomas Mayo in conversation with Professor Leanne Holt – 28 June
