The event was a testament to the invaluable role of alumni engagement in fostering a stronger connection between alumni and the University. Macquarie staff also benefited from the event, as they had the chance to engage with alumni, gaining insights and experiences that contribute to the continuous growth and development of Macquarie and interest in future courses. The event received positive feedback on social media and in the event survey, with alumni sharing their experiences:

“Thank you, Macquarie University, for organising this. My first event outside of Sydney, being able to connect with mates and listening to stories from the past years felt great. Looking forward to being part of this vibrant community.”

“Such a great night and it was wonderful to meet so many alumni. The highlight for me was the pulse survey of MBA grads on their opinion of ‘Foundations of Management Thought!'”

“An excellent evening and chance to meet with fellow alumni, put me down for the next meet-up!”

Pictured below are some the alumni still deeply connected with the University, who attended on the night.
