Seeking participants for a study about children’s speech production and speech perception

Parents and children are invited to participate in the Talking and Listening Children (TLC) study, which will investigate children’s speech production and speech perception.

To be eligible for participation, children must:

  • be aged between 4 years and 5 years 11 months
  • use English as their only language.

The TLC study requires two visits to the Australian Hearing Hub at Macquarie University. Each visit will take between 60 and 90 minutes. Children will be asked to complete fun talking and listening tasks, and parents will be asked to complete a background questionnaire. Participants will receive a $30 voucher for each visit.

By taking part, you will help improve understanding of children’s speech development.
