On 21 November, the University came together to celebrate the 2022 Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Awards for Learning and Teaching and Professional Staff.

This year marked the first combined event for Learning and Teaching and Professional Staff. The location was also significant, taking place in the Michael Egan Hall – the first time the space has been used for an event other than graduations.

The event had a wonderful ambience as our community united to recognise the calibre and achievements of our colleagues.

When introducing the awards Vice-Chancellor Professor S Bruce Dowton said: “I would like to thank and congratulate all the finalists for their extraordinary efforts, and for making Macquarie such a special place to study and work. I acknowledge the passion and impact that you and your teams have on other people’s lives, and how your commitment, hard work and ingenuity serve and support our students and our local community to the highest standard.”

Congratulations to all our winners.
