Developed by the Office of Commercialisation and the MQ Incubator in 2020, the Researchers IMPACT Program empowers Macquarie’s innovative researchers and HDR candidates to explore commercialisation of their idea, identify opportunities for industry collaboration and seek alternative funding sources.
In 2021, 17 researchers and HDR candidates successfully participated in the program. Applications are now open for the next intake which starts on 14 June.
What you need to apply:
- A research idea you think may have commercial, people, or planet impact
- Willingness to commit to the program and an open and learner mindset
- Be a current researcher or HDR candidate at Macquarie University
- Interested in securing further funding for commercialising your research or idea
