Macquarie University joins the University Week of Action – 22-26 March 2021 in raising our voices in support of the principles embodied in the Uluru Statement from the Heart.
This initiative, along with the recently released Interim Voice Report, provides an opportunity for further consultation on a First Nations Voice to the Parliament. We accept the invitation to walk beside Australia’s First Peoples and communities in a way that respects and celebrates our shared and unique identities, leading to a more inclusive and better future for all Australians.
Macquarie University is committed to being a University where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, knowledges and experiences are respected and celebrated, forming an integral part of our University’s learning, teaching, research and community.
