Careers Week is going virtual again – connecting students with industry online

8-12 March is Careers Week, which provides online events for students at all stages of their study program and from all faculties.

Organised by our Career and Employment Service, the virtual Careers Week will enable students to meet employers, find out about organisations and roles of interest and focus their professional goals at the following online events:

  • Navigating Recruitment with MQSE
  • Start Up Panel: The Good, the bad and the ugly
  • Building your Australian Network for International Students
  • Why Volunteer? Benefit the community and build employability skills
  • Develop your brand/digital CV using Adobe Spark
  • Discover alternative career options with a law degree
  • Careers in the Public and Not For Profit sectors
  • Careers in the Media Panel
  • Enhancing Employability with Tech Skills
  • Bounce back from unsuccessful job applications with MQSE
  • Poststudy Visa Options and International Student Employment Success Stories

Students and staff wishing to attend any of our virtual Careers Week events can find more information on our website and can register to attend via CareerHub.

Most of the events will be recorded and added to MyMQ Career Zone (MyMQ Career Videos), where students can access them.

Students are also encouraged to attend Super Careers Fairs being organised by GradConnection and SEEK.
