Staff Parking in 2021

As the end of the year is approaching, it’s time to go online to your vPermit account to check your expiry date and plan for your 2021 vPermit purchase.

Your expiry date will differ according to your method of payment in 2020, as credits covering the COVID-19 work-from-home period were applied in different ways:

  • Staff who paid via salary sacrifice will have noticed that salary deductions were paused in April 2020 and resumed in August 2020.  These permits will expire 31 December and staff will need to purchase a new permit for 2021.
  • Staff who paid for their vPermit by credit card will see that their permit is valid until 30 June 2021 (as refunds could not be provided for credit card payments).

2021 permits

The University’s parking calendar operates from 1 January to 31 December each year.  Purchasing of vPermits for General and staff zones will be available from 1 January 2021.

It is anticipated that the North 3 staff carpark will reopen in February 2021 and will be available for gym patrons and ‘Staff Only’ vPermit holders.

Special permits on sale now

The system is now open and available to purchase 2021 Staff Premium vPermits.  These permits will guarantee an unallocated bay in East 2 and East 3 car spaces.  Please note the Premium vPermit allocations may sell out quickly.

vPermits for the Chancellery car park (limited to Chancellery staff only) are also now available for pre-sale.

  1. Hi

Want to renew my Vpermit for 2021. For the year 2020, I had the Green zone permit with access to 44, 58 Waterloo Road, as my office is at 58 Waterloo Road.

When I login to the https://vpermit.com.au to apply for a Vpermit for 2021 I am unable to see any Green zone permits in the drop down, the permits seen are only for East zone car parks.

Can you attend to this, as it would unnecessary hassles when the office resumes on Jan 4th 2021.
