Gail White will retire from the role of Executive Director, Student Engagement and Registrar on 10 November, and is currently on leave. 

“Gail has made a significant contribution to ensuring our systems and processes are student-centred since she joined Macquarie in 2018,” says Professor Mariella Herberstein, Interim Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic). “I would like to thank her for her unwavering commitment to doing the best for our students and enabling their success. Please join me in wishing Gail all the very best for a long and happy retirement.” 

Professor Herberstein will take on the functions of the Registrar for the time being, and Kylie Ebert, Director of Student Life, and Nermeen Abraham, Director of Student Administration, will both report directly to her.
