Books wanted!

Macquarie is celebrating Indigenous Literacy Day on 2 September by holding Indigenous Literacy Week (31 August – 4 September) to bring together the Macquarie community for story sharing and to fundraise for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.

Part of the celebration and fundraising is a week-long gold coin donation Book Swap. It is open to everyone on campus and we need your unwanted books to get the collection started now! To be COVID-safe, books need to sit for 72 hours and be sanitised for the swap.

Please drop off books at MacShop (18 Wally’s Walk, 10:30am-2:30pm Mon-Fri) by Thursday 27 August so that we’ve got a good pile to choose from at the first Book Swap on Monday 31 August.

If you have any questions about what books to donate email Emily Costello
