IDAHOBIT is on Sunday 17 May but Macquarie will celebrate it this Thursday to encourage all staff and students to be visible Allies and invite them to participate.

IDAHOBIT ‘Breaking the Silence’ Panel Event by Pride in Diversity

Pride in Diversity have also organised a ‘Breaking the Silence’ online panel event to raise visibility of our diverse individuals across the spectrum of diverse gender identities and sexualities. The panel will share their own personal experiences and what IDAHOBIT and breaking the silence means to them.
Some suggestions on how to contribute to IDAHOBIT from home on Thursday 14 May:
- Wear your rainbow lanyard, badge or be creative to decorate your workstation for your online meetings
- Download the MQ IDAHOBIT virtual backgrounds and use them in your online meetings
- Check this IDAHOBIT online resources
