Celebrating an impressive 20 years at Macquarie this year, the Department of Computing’s Department Manager, Melina Chan, has loved working with academics and students on a number of major projects over the years.

With the final stage in the relocation of the Department from 9 Wally’s Walk to 4 Research Park Drive completed in February 2019, Melina is now focused on looking at the options to relocate the teaching labs to the same building – the ultimate goal of a Computing Department Building.

A passionate problem solver, Melina believes the most important thing is to “stay positive and be resilient.”
