MQ Quantum on the rise

Macquarie University has formed the Quantum Excellence Network (QEN) with key strategic partners from the University of Hamburg, the University of Strasbourg and the University of Sherbrooke in Quebec. The QEN will generate world-leading research in Synthetic Quantum Matter.

The new partnership follows last year’s establishment of the Sydney Quantum Academy – a collaboration of four leading quantum institutions in NSW, of which Macquarie is an inaugural member.

Both partnerships position Macquarie as a key partner and place for quantum research, with the University uniquely positioned to offer a very broad range of expertise, from theory through to experimental testing of novel engineered quantum materials.
