Volunteers needed for FIRST Robotics 2020 Season

Macquarie University is a Regional Event Partner for FIRST Australia – an internationally acclaimed robotics program that inspires a passion for STEM in young people.

FIRST’s 2020  international qualifying events are being held at Sydney Olympic Park in March, and the University is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with these events.

Volunteers play a key role at FIRST competitions, and there are many roles to be filled, both technical and non-technical. Most volunteer roles can be learned at the event itself and don’t require any STEM qualifications – all that’s required is an enthusiasm to help out!  Additional training is provided for key volunteer positions.

Volunteers get meals, an event t-shirt and lanyard.  Volunteering for a FIRST event is a great experience and you will have an inspiring and fun day.
