Macquarie University is proud to support the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize – the highest value art prize for women, with a $35,000 Professional Artist Prize, an Emerging Artist Prize of $5000 and the new Indigenous Emerging Artist Prize of $5000.
Female artists residing in Australia are eligible to enter the Art Prize. All media is accepted and there is no theme – artworks must best reflect the intentions of the artist’s practice.
Entries close at 12pm (EST) on Wednesday 18 March 2020. Future Students will be covering the cost of staff and students wishing to enter the competition in the Prize. Please contact Tristan Tulloch ( tristan.tulloch@mq.edu.au) to arrange the entry fee waiver.
Winners of the 2020 Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize will be announced at the Opening Night on Friday 29 May.
All emerging and established female artists who submit their entries into the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize by 1 March go in the draw to win a $1000 art supplies gift voucher.*
