Get your 2020 parking sorted before the Christmas break by heading online and organising a vPermit today.
Select ‘salary sacrifice’ to have parking deducted from pre-tax income by payroll*. There is also a one-off credit card payment option.
* Deductions start in January 2020, in line with pay cycle. Conditions apply.
What does it cost?
See flyer for details about which carpark works best for you and if any access restrictions apply.
Important to note
- this is a pre-purchase offer, meaning that permits will be activated on 1 January 2020
- current annual vPermits expire on or before 31 December 2019
- there is no option to roll over or ‘renew’ a 2019 permit – staff must purchase a 2020 parking permit.

I would like to know what is going on with my v-permit. According to my parking account I have a current salary sacrifice account that is listed as active but when I checked my pay details the salary sacrifice amount has not been deducted from my current payslip. Who do I contact to check up on this?
HI Mark
I would be checking with your relevant HR payroll person. You can find them here: https://staff.mq.edu.au/support/people-management/contact-human-resources
How can I purchase a permit for 6 months? There is no option online.
Hi there,
You’re best to email parking@mq.edu.au for any enquiries relating to parking permits.
I would like to purchase a 2020 parking permit via salary sacrifice for general zone 1 but the only option appears to be a credit card pre-purchase and the staff permits seem to expire 31 Dec 2019. can you advise?
Hi Mark, try again after 9.00am when it goes live.
I am trying to get a 2020 vpermit as I will be on annual leave over Christmas/New .year but when I log in I am only getting an option to the end of this month despite following the above links. How do I use my existing parking account to get to the 2020 salary sacrifice option?
