Alternative pedestrian access next to Central Courtyard

Central Courtyard Precinct construction works will affect pedestrian access around 14 Sir Christopher Ondaatje Ave over the next two months.

Access will change in the three stages below, commencing 4 December and concluding by 15 February 2020.

Pedestrian access from Wally’s Walk to the Chancellory (19 Eastern Road) along Sir Christopher Ondaatje Avenue will be closed during Stage 1 and 2 (as per diagrams below), with alternative access via Eastern Road.

  1. May as well just shut down the whole University at the moment- expanding and new construction sites are popping up so frequently, half of the campus requires major diversions to access. There is no consideration for anyone with mobility limitations- they can be diverted for hundreds of meters down embankments and off paths, no problem.
