Has your loved one entered an aged care home recently?

Macquarie University’s Centre for the Health Economy (MUCHE) is seeking people to undertake a survey and participate in a focus group discussion, to find out about their experiences and the factors they considered when paying for accommodation in an aged care home.

To be eligible, you need to be over 18, fluent in English and have been involved with making a decision on an accommodation payment for an aged care home resident.

Participation will involve coming to Macquarie University (North Ryde Campus) on one of the mentioned days.

You will be presented with an online survey that should take about 20 minutes to complete.

You will then participate in a focus group with a maximum of 10 participants. This will take approximately 90 minutes of your time. You will be compensated $100 (by way of a voucher) for your time and travel expenses.

Date: Wednesday 21 August OR Wednesday 28 August 2019 based on your preference.

Time: 12-2pm (lunch is provided)

If you are interested in participating, please contact the Macquarie University Centre for the Health Economy on (02) 9850 1836 or by emailing health.economy@mq.edu.au.

This study has been approved by the Macquarie University Human Research Ethics Committee (ref#:5201954409478).
