Leadership update: Welcoming new GM of FSE

amanda-croftThe Faculty of Science and Engineering is pleased to welcome Amanda Croft as their new Faculty General Manager.

Amanda comes to Macquarie with a wealth of professional experience in the tertiary sector, holding senior roles at the University of Sydney, including that of the Faculty Manager of Medicine.  Amanda’s background in financial management, business development and operational performance, together with her strong commitment to a service orientated culture and principles of equity, inclusion and diversity in the workplace, will enable the faculty to continue to contribute to the strategic initiatives of the University as a whole.

The faculty has bid farewell to outgoing General Manager Emma Bowen, who has moved to a leadership position at the University of Sydney.

“Emma has been instrumental in our success in so many areas over her three years with us,” says Executive Dean Professor Barbara Messerle. “Her inclusive leadership style helped our professional teams grow and maintain a consistently high standard of service. We thank Emma for her commitment to the University and the faculty.”
