The Finance One (FMIS) system is being upgraded to a more stable cloud-based structure.

This will enable more functionality over time and reduce organisational risk, as well as supporting further upgrades in the future.

The migration to the new system is planned to commence at noon on Friday 12 April and is expected to be completed by Monday 15 April. The system will be unavailable during this time.

Some other systems, such as Basware will also be down during this time – your Finance representative will be aware of these.

Core functionality will not change, therefore a major programme of  training is not envisaged as this stage. A review of interface system processes have been undertaken and no changes are anticipated for go live.

Any changes that occur at this time will be circulated via email to affected individuals, with a ‘cheat sheet/FAQs’ document attached.
