Macquarie University is reconstructing the intersection of Link Road to improve access conditions on Culloden Road. The works were due to start on 18 February but have been delayed and are now due to start on Tuesday 5 March, weather permitting, and will be completed by the end of March.

What do the works involve?

The scope of works includes kerb and gutter, footpath and driveway improvements to the frontage of the University.

When will construction take place?

Activities will typically occur from Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 4:00pm, and between 7.00am – 1.00pm on Saturday.

How will this affect me?

Link Road will be closed at Culloden Road for the duration of the works and access to Property and Security, West 5 and West 6 Carparks will be via either Gymnasium or Balaclava Roads. There are Variable Message Boards already in place at key decision points to advise traffic detours.
