Station Link services

A message from Marg Prendergast, Coordinator General, Transport for NSW

Station Link is now operational with high frequency bus services keeping our customers moving between Epping and Chatswood.

The initial weekday operations have been successful, and we will continue to monitor and refine the operations. One of our observations is that customers travelling to the Macquarie Park precinct from the city on the rail network are exiting at Chatswood Station instead of St Leonards.

We are urging customers travelling to Macquarie Park or Macquarie University Stations to use SL4 from St Leonards Station that runs every few minutes in the morning and afternoon peak.

So far, we have been managing the network well, monitoring intersections and adjusting light phases to keep buses moving. Tow trucks are on the ground removing vehicles parked in bus lanes and clear ways to ensure that our buses run as efficiently as possible.

We’ve got more than 80 Transport for NSW Pink Shirt staff out in force assisting customers with trip planning and directing them to Station Link bus stops.

Customers can plan their trip at https://transportnsw.info. Also, real time updates are available on transport apps and the trip planner as well as at Passenger Displays at bus stops.

Which way will you go?
Check out the videos for each Station Link option and note the start and finish times – extra buses are dedicated to moving people during the peak hours and most run Monday to Friday only.
