Upcoming elections – University Council and Faculty Boards

Nominations will open at 3pm today (2 Oct) for a number of non-academic (professional) staff representative positions on University Council and Faculty Boards.

These include:

  • One position for a non-academic staff member on the University Council;
  • One position for a non-academic staff member on the Faculty of Arts Faculty Board;
  • One position for a non-academic staff member on the Faculty of Human Sciences Faculty Board;
  • One position for a non-academic staff member on the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Faculty Board; and
  • One position for a non-academic staff member on the Faculty of Science and Engineering Faculty Board.

(Note: An election has recently been held for the non-academic staff member on the Faculty of Business and Economics Faculty Board).

In all cases, the successful candidate will be appointed for a two year term of membership from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2020.

Nomination forms are available on mq.edu.au/about/election-forms, and completed nomination forms must be submitted by no later than 3pm on Tuesday 16 October 2018.
