Cohop is an uber-like carpooling app that specialises in ride sharing with colleagues into and out of the Macquarie Park area.

Available to staff of Connect members, of which Macquarie University is one, simply download the Cohop app and book a free ride in real time.

Macquarie University staff can search for suitable riders, arrange rides in advance and set up recurring rides with work mates or friends/family working at other member organisations in the area including Optus, Foxtel, Metcash, Novartis, Konica Minolta, Macquarie Centre and more.

Macquarie University staff who carpool can apply for a priority parking permit. Please note this option would be suitable for those travelling to and from Macquarie University only.

A guaranteed ride home
If a Cohop ride share to your home is cancelled and you are left without options, Connect will ensure you have a ride home. It will reimburse member employees for costs (up to $100) associated with finding an alternative (taxi/uber) ride home in case of last-minute Cohop cancellation where the departure address is Macquarie Park.
